Open Question: How much data does GPS navigation (i.e. Navigon software) use on an iPhone? - WIFIROBIN.COM
I'm looking to get an iPhone 4, and I'm used to the free navigation on my Nokia E71. I'm willing to pay $15 to download the Navigon navigation software for eastern US, but I'm worried about data usage with AT&T's new plans. Obviously I won't be using WiFi, so I'm wondering how GPS will affect my 2gb limit. I know actual GPS navigation doesn't need data, but what data does the application use? (i.e. downloading maps in real-time)
