Open Question: Some of the apps on my ipod arnt working:(?

I was at the hospital, and they have wifi their, I was updating most of my apps and downloading some new ones to. I had to leave the hospital right in the middle of downloading and updating all them, so now like 16 of my good apps say "waiting" and have a gray picture where the normal picture usually is. and theres a loading bar, but nothing is going on. I tried plugging it in and syncing my ipod, and it said that it updated them but it didnt:( so i tried resetting my ipod and that didnt work either....please help!:/
