does this antenna even come close to its claimed high gain? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290387847084&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT i know its odd to even take a second look at a wifi device manufactured overseas by a generic no-brand factory.... but any opinions?? @poolekiteman thanks. i have the WGR614 from netgear. i was thinking of opening it and resolder a female n connector to it, so i can experiment. (warn me if there is any problem to that)... about that cone-shaped coverage, i'll keep that mind. maybe just going for some branded 7-9 dBi antenna would work just as well.
